One Day at A Time
Man it's tuff sitting next to your work partner in a van when he's eating a triple from wendy's. Just the smell alone makes me hungry. Just realized that stuff will never be for me again if I want to reach my goals. Gonna miss it but there is no food that tastes as good as it feels to be in shape.

in the words of my sister... "a moment on the lips isn't worth a lifetime on the hips!" haha.
Good job!

That's a tough gig, Gary. I would say to you to bring some type of snack along with you. Those cheeseburgers are my weakness too.. but remember what you're in this for. You're not at the gym at 5:30am to eat cheeseburgers.
Catch you in the morning.
Yeah, that's rough. Pretty soon, you will look at him and be disgusted at his ignorance and lack of caring.
I basically hold in contempt the disgusting attitudes toward food, nutrition, and exercise held by the mainstream of America.
That's how I'm getting. I'm starting to feel like I'm the pushy friend now. If I'm with my buddies and they're ordering or eating a ton of food, I have that feeling of 'disgust' now.
I feel hypocritical about it sometimes, because I know that I was EXACTLY that same way just a few months ago, and "who am I to tell them what to do?", but it's a complete awareness.
Oh, and I've got a great solution:
Taco Bell hard shell tacos and tostadas - FRESCO style.
200 and 150 calories, respectively.
That is a tough one. I don't think I could have come as far as I have without all of the positive influences in my life.
Just be strong and remember how much better you feel when you're not experiencing the ill effects of that triple cheese...when your stomach is less distended because you're not pumping in all the toxins that it's used to.
If you're too tempted, choose something "better" like the al fresco tacos that Rob mentioned or just a jr. cheeseburger.
